Basic configuration

Feeder:

  • Komfi single action feeding head.
  • Adjustable guide plates for thin sheets processing.
  • Sheet overlap sensor to protect the pressure roller from the laminate adhesive sticking.
  • Air compressor to ensure sufficient supply of compressed air and vacuum for sheet feeding and delivery.

 

Laminating Unit:

  • Adjustable distance stoppers for lamination unit to enable processing thick substrates
    and windows lamination.
  • ”On-the-fly” side-adjustable unwinding shaft with adjustable brake force.
  • Height-adjustable and removable spread roller perfectly removes wrinkles from laminate.
  • IR heating for laminating cylinder. Temperature sensor inside the cylinder for precise regulation.
  • Rubber coated pressure roller.
  • The powerful pneumatic pressure system guarantees even nip pressure and perfect lamination results.

 

Separator & Delivery:

  • Decurling unit consisting of bar and roller with position control to move the snapping moment automatically when the position of decurler is changed.
  • Built-in film perforator to enable sheet separation.
  • Cam-driven separation roller with adjustable tearing action, delivery roller and sheet skewing wheel.
  • Fixed delivery desk with adjustable air nozzles.

SW functions included

  • Stop on the sheet overlap to avoid waste sheets.
  • Zero overlap possibility for processing thick substrates.
  • Pressure and temperature drop detection to prevent irregularity in lamination quality.
  • End of job function for easy rewind of film.
  • Sensor for sheet separation detection and jam detection.
  • Job settings memory.
  • Built-in internet connectivity for service support.

Options

  • The Intelligent Bottom feeder machine version for short runs allows sheets to be laden on-the-fly. It can be used in two modes: as a manually fed bottom suction feeder or connected into a line with a printer for continuous run.
  • Sheet preheater to increase durability and adhesion of lamination.
  • Two-zone IR heater.
  • Polyurethane pressure roller for longer roller life.
  • Teflon pressure roller with non-sticking surface to reduce film or duplex print marking.
  • Film slitter to cut the laminate on requested width.
  • Additional On roll perforator.
  • Integrated Effect foiling device (OTF) with possibility to apply PSA film too.
  • External Effect foiling device (OTF).
  • 1″ unwinding shaft for effect films.
  • Autopilot to monitor and control supply of paper and film (bottom feeder version).
  • Useful in workshops where one person operates more than one equipment.
  • Hot knife option for perfect separation of thick, PET and Nylon films that eliminates film flagging.
  • Antistatic bar removes static charge from the separator and prevents from thin sheets wrapping onto the rollers.
  • Air ionizer for smooth sheets unloading without static charge.
  • Jogging table.
  • Automatic sheet stacker.
  • Roll lift for comfortable handling of laminating film rolls.
